Our Wedding Packages

Our daughter is getting married at the Ro in December and Rochelle has been absolutely amazing. We live over 100 miles away, and Rochelle has been in constant contact with us, every step of the way. The patience, understanding, care and kindness she has shown to us is something we will never forget. Most of the communication has been done by email, so when we finally met Rochelle, we felt as if we already knew her.

No question or request about the wedding was a problem to her and she works effortlessly with venue stylists, florist, photographer etc, to pull it all together when the big day arrives. She has answered every question we ever asked, and is so calm and reassuring which has made us more relaxed about the wedding. We are all looking forward to the wedding, with Rochelle and her team guiding us through the day.

Superb menu’s for both day and evening receptions too I would highly recommend The Ro Hotel as a wedding venue, and definitely a lovely place to stay.

We’ve booked our wedding here and the whole process has been amazing and thats down to the amazing Rochelle who is the wedding coordinator there, her attention to detail and customer service skills are second to none. nothing was too much of an ask and the immediate replies we got to any of questions has made the whole process so smooth. shes made planning our wedding so easy which has taken the stress away 🙂

My husband and I cannot praise the Ro Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere, enough for their support and organisation of our dream wedding. We cannot thank the Ro enough for giving us our dream wedding in a dream location with our dream themes and quirks. People always say their wedding day was the best day of their life, and that is genuinely true of us – thanks to the Ro.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Ro. It was truly the perfect setting for our special day! From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew it was perfect for our intimate wedding day. The Sun Room is absolutely stunning with a beautiful blend of charm, elegance and warmth A special mention to the gorgeous bridal suite which was full of natural light and created the perfect calming environment to get ready in.

What really made the experience exceptional though, was our incredible wedding coordinator, Tilly. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was right. She was organised, responsive and always one step ahead so we could enjoy our day stress free. It felt like having a trusted friend by our side- someone who truly cared about making our wedding unforgettable.

Just had a lovely couple of days here with my Son and our little dog. Not been since the rebrand but was pleasantly surprised. The dog friendly bedroom was great, big enough, nicely done out, lovely bathroom. Tea,coffee etc in your room,big TV.

The buffet breakfast was great and the views from the bar beautiful. It’s clearly still having bits done, it’s a big place, I’m sure there will always be jobs to do but nothing that affects your stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend especially if you have a dog.

Our first trip away with our baby. Staff make this hotel. Ed in resteraunt was thoughtful and kind offering to keep my husbands meal hot whilst he fed our baby. Aaron in the bar also made us feel comfortable and at home.

Tower suite – spacious and luxurious with amazing views of Lake Windermere. Lovely terrace in front of the hotel to enjoy the view and a drink. Food also lovely in hotel. Walking distance to all amenities but away from the noise. Thanks for the hospitality.

The day before our wedding we drove up and was immediately greeted with Tilly our wedding co-ordinator we had a quick run through everything and I was immediately put at ease. I was greeting family on the beautiful terrace having a few drinks (as you do) and Eduardo came over introduced himself and told me if I needed anything he would be there on wedding day.

This was a nice little touch and he wasn’t wrong, the day of the wedding him and Tilly had everything covered everything I envisioned was brought to life, everything was perfect and you made us feel special. The food on the day was immense people are still talking to me about the food. Everything ran to perfection, the team all day were exceptional.

I don’t think I could ever thank Tilly and Eduardo enough for how my wedding day went, you are amazing ❤️

Had a lovely stay here, great location near to the town centre, and lovely views. Room was made up beautifully, the facilities were great and breakfast was an added bonus. All the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive, especially at the reception desk.

We were checked in by Persia who was clearly very knowledgeable about the area, recommending lots of places where to go and what to see, which all turned out to be great recommendations. Check out was just as efficient as check in, this time by Kara. Asked about our stay, our time exploring and wished us well on our journey home. Very pleasant. Look forward to staying again soon.

Wow! What a fantastic 2 night break!! From the moment we arrived the hotel staff could not have done more to make our visit so memorable. Great room, great drinks terrace with views over Windermere, and great food. Oh – and great value. Especial thanks to Eduardo! We will be back!!
